Meet our
Veterinarians
Dr. Jeff Dahl
Dr. Jeff Dahl started working at Bellevue in May 2000 immediately after his graduation from Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Jeff originates from the Victoria area and was glad to return to the Island from his veterinary training in Saskatoon, where he obtained extra experience while working 2 summers in the department of radiology. We’re sure he was born with veterinary medicine in his genes because both of his parents were veterinarians too! Jeff works as a partner & veterinarian full time in the clinic while he and his wife, Denise, have been busy raising two boys, and also parenting 2 cats (Margaret and Maisy), and Lily, the lovely Labrador.
Dr. Natacha Lesage
Dr. Natacha Lesage started her work at Bellevue in March 2006. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2002. Prior to her work here, she had practiced veterinary medicine in Oregon and also in England, as she and her husband traveled in the U.S. & Europe. Dr. Lesage has a very gentle nature and thus has a calming influence on our four-legged patients and their owners. Natacha is a partner and veterinarian in the clinic 3 days/week, while she and her husband, David, are raising two boys, and their canine child, Rocky.
Dr. Christine Bradbury
Dr. Christine Bradbury joined the Bellevue team in February 2017. Originally from the Comox Valley, she completed an undergraduate degree in Zoology at UBC prior to earning her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College. Just prior to Bellevue, Christine was working at an emergency hospital in Vancouver, but was excited to come back to the Island to spend more quality time with her husband and 3 boys. Christine’s veterinary special interests include diagnostic medicine, soft tissue surgery and critical care. In her spare time, Christine loves the outdoors, camping, kayaking, and painting.
Dr. Petra Kos Harms
Dr. Petra Kos immigrated to Canada from Czechoslovakia as a toddler and grew up in Ontario, getting her vet degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009. She moved to the Best Coast soon after graduating and has been practicing small animal primary and emergency care on Vancouver Island and the surrounding area since 2011. Petra joined our team in May 2024. She loves medical diagnostic workups and guiding pet owners through veterinary care options, giving treats to the dogs and ear scritches to cats. She and her husband Mike are kept busy with three young daughters, a Snowshoe cat names Bentley and a White Swiss Shepherd named Rio. She spends her days off vacuuming white fur, pursuing outdoor adventures, and working on a passion project that advocates for responsible artificial intelligence use in medical practice.
Dr. Zoe Noble
Originally from Victoria, Dr. Zoe Noble received a degree in microbiology from UVic before going overseas to earn her veterinary degree from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary School in Edinburgh in 2021.
She is the Regional Director for the board of the Society of BC veterinarians, and is working on an advanced general practitioner certification in small animal internal medicine.
In her personal time, Zoe and her husband spend as much time outdoors as possible, and can be found fishing, surfing and hiking with their son and dog in tow.
Zoe joined our team in September 2024 and strives to make her clients feel listened to, and loves collaborating with them to achieve optimal health outcomes for their pets.
Dr. Shelagh Hislop
Dr. Shelagh Hislop has been part of the team for over 3 decades. She began her veterinary career with Bellevue in 1992 after her Biochemistry degree from the U. of Calgary, then veterinary degree, with distinction, from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatoon. Her love for animals, people, and science are what called her to a career in veterinary medicine. As of Fall 2024, Shelagh is now retired, but she does continue to assist with some of the Bellevue background and administrative work.

Patty
Patty joined the Bellevue team in the fall of 2007. You can see her smiling face in reception 3 days a week. Patty brings her calm, quiet influence and warm maternal tendency to all those she assists and works with. Patty is also very busy at home with her husband, two children, three budgies, poodle, Jasper, and two ferrets.
Jennifer
Jennifer has worked with us in reception since Spring 2006. Since then she has been a dependable and friendly part of our reception desk. Part of Jen’s story took a sharp turn a couple of years after she started working with us. She has always been a keen equestrian and very involved with horses throughout her life, but unfortunately, was tragically injured after being thrown from a horse in May 2008. She sustained significant spinal cord damage and was away from work for a year. It has been a challenge for her to adjust to, and continue life in a wheelchair, but she has been an amazing fighter and continues to be a valuable member of our team.
Maggie
Maggie joined our reception/assistant team in April of 2023. She was born and raised on Vancouver Island and shares her home with her two dogs and two cats. Maggie has always had a passion for helping animals and plans to further her education in this field. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking, camping, off roading and traveling.
