General Veterinary Services
Although the physical examination is the most basic of the services we offer, it is sometimes the most important one. A thorough examination allows us to pinpoint some conditions before they develop into full blown problems. Palpation of your pet from head to toe, when appropriate, gives the opportunity to locate unwanted guests, feel internal organs, or detect other abnormalities. In some instances, we will still recommend regular bloodwork to screen for things we are not able to see on a physical exam.
It is recommended that your pet receive an annual examination.
Some pets with chronic conditions or those that receive ongoing medications or are geriatric may require examinations more frequently.
